King Departs for Participation in UN General Assembly Meetings

His Majesty King Abdullah II departed the Kingdom on Wednesday to participate in the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York next week.

His Majesty will deliver a speech at the opening session of the 80th General Assembly and will hold meetings on the sidelines with heads of state and delegation leaders.

His Royal Highness Prince Mired bin Raad was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of the Council of Ministers.
