The Jordanian Medical Council and the Palestinian Medical Council discussed cooperation on medical training and specialisation on Wednesday, during a visit by a Palestinian delegation to the Jordanian council's headquarters in Amman.

Manar Al-Lawama, secretary-general of the Jordanian council, said closer cooperation and the exchange of expertise would support the development of medical training and specialisation in both countries.
The Palestinian delegation comprised the council's vice president, Mohammad Abu Younis, its secretary-general, Shawqi Subha, and the chairman of its higher scientific committee, Saeed Al-Sarhanah. Both sides agreed to maintain coordination between the two councils.
