The Minister of Health affirmed that the Ministry is moving forward with implementing His Majesty King Abdullah II’s vision for developing the health sector by building strategic partnerships with key national institutions. Foremost among these are the Royal Medical Services, university hospitals, and private hospitals. He explained that these partnerships form an integrated system of joint institutional work by unifying efforts, rationalizing resources, and developing treatment pathways—directly improving the level of services provided to citizens.
Al-Bdour expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Royal Medical Services, stressing that what unites the two institutions is integration and comprehensiveness aimed at building a healthcare system capable of meeting citizens’ needs efficiently and sustainably. He added that the Ministry and RMS share both the vision and responsibility toward every citizen who requires safe and high-quality healthcare.
For his part, Brig. Gen. Dr. Sahl Al-Hamouri emphasized the importance of deepening the partnership between the military and civil health sectors, noting that this cooperation enhances sector readiness, expands service coverage, and achieves integration across various medical specialties.
Al-Hamouri stated that the partnership between the Royal Medical Services and the Ministry of Health is not merely a framework for cooperation, but a genuine lever for improving healthcare quality and expanding access. He pointed out that exchanging expertise, coordinating efforts, and unifying work processes directly contribute to reducing waiting times and easing the burden on patients, confirming that the citizen is the primary beneficiary of this integration, which ensures access to more comprehensive and efficient care across the Kingdom’s governorates.
Both Al-Bdour and Al-Hamouri praised the capabilities of Jordanian medical professionals in both sectors, acknowledging their vital role in strengthening Jordan’s position as a leading medical destination at the regional and international levels.
