JIEC announces $15 million investment in veterinary vaccines

AMMAN — The Jordan Industrial Estates Company (JIEC) announced that a company operating in Al-Hassan Industrial City in Al-Ramtha is investing $15 million to produce medicines, biotechnologies, and veterinary vaccines, which will create approximately 100 job opportunities. اضافة اعلان

Omar Juwaid, director-general of the JIEC, stated that this investment reflects the efficiency of the investment environment in Al-Hassan Industrial City and the investors' confidence in it.

He praised the efforts of the investing company, which is one of the largest investors in the city, the Jordan News Agency, Petra reported.

Platform for local marketJuwaid highlighted a platform created for Jordanian companies that manufacture pesticides, veterinary medicines, and agricultural fertilizers to promote their products in local, Arab, and international markets.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Owais, general manager of the Arab Pesticides and Veterinary Drugs Manufacturing Company, stated that the company plans to expand its investments in veterinary medicines.

He predicted that its new factory's products will reach over 50 markets worldwide and create about 100 job opportunities in its first phase.

It is noteworthy that the number of companies in Al-Hassan Industrial City was 136 in 2022, with an investment volume of JD430 million, creating over 36,000 job opportunities.
