JHCO sends 77 tonnes of medicines and medical supplies to Gaza

AMMAN — The Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization (JHCO) has announced the preparation of three
planes loaded with new aid for families in the Gaza Strip. اضافة اعلان

Two of these planes departed from Amman on Friday to Al-Aeish Airport, while the third plane is scheduled to depart on Saturday.

According to Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, Secretary-General of JHCO, two planes left on Friday and two more will depart on Saturday carrying 77 tonnes of medical supplies, Jo24 reported.

The aid will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent at Al-Arish Airport to be transported into Gaza and distributed to hospitals through the concerned authorities, in support of the health sector in the Gaza Strip.
Shibli explained that coordination is underway to send more aid to reduce the pressure on the health sector and supply hospitals with the necessary medical supplies and medicines to address health conditions and alleviate the
pain of the injured and wounded.
