AMMAN — The
Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) participated in the Jordanian-Algerian Investment Forum,
and the first session of the joint Jordanian-Algerian Business Council,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The two events opened in Jordan Saturday and were
organized by the Jordanian Businessmen Association, in collaboration with the
National Confederation of Algerian Employers.
JFDZG Chairman
Khalaf Al-Hmeisat stressed the importance
of the Algerian confederation’s delegation to enhance economic cooperation in
various investment activities, a JFDZG statement said on Sunday.
Hmeisat briefed the delegation on the establishment
and development of Jordanian free and development zones and investment
opportunities.
Algeria is currently establishing free trade zones, thus
requiring interconnections with the Algerian regulatory commission to benefit
from Jordanian expertise in the field, the statement added.
