Israeli occupation forces release Jordanian prisoner Osaid Abu Khdeir

AMMAN — Israeli occupation forces released Jordanian prisoner Osaid Abu Khdeir after serving six years in jail, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

Abu Khdeir, 34, was arrested in 2016 for allegedly shooting at Israeli army cars. IN 2017, the Jordanian-Palestinian was sentenced to six years in jail.

Abu Khdeir is expected to arrive in Jordan on Thursday.

At the time of his arrest, his family said that he had been living in Soreif village in the northern part of the West Bank town of Hebron for two years.

Abu Khdeir’s release Monday brings the number of Jordanians who remain in Israeli jails to 19, including some who are serving life sentences.
