Int’l social media advertisements generate over double the revenue of local outlets

AMMAN — Faisal Shboul, the Jordanian minister of government communications, stated that international advertisements on social media networks have generated approximately $116 million in Jordan, while local media outlets received less than half of that amount.اضافة اعلان

During the discussion of the Legal Committee on the cyber-crimes Law for the year 2023, it was revealed that 220,000 accounts were targeted in a single advertisement campaign by a known international entity, Al-Ghad News reported.
