Government reduces fuel prices for April

AMMAN — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' fuel pricing committee has announced the new local selling prices of oil derivatives for the month of April, Al-Mamlaka TV reported. اضافة اعلان

The committee met on Friday to review the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives during March and compared them to the previous month.


Diesel and gasoline prices reduced
The committee applied the pricing equation based on the global prices of all oil derivatives and found that the price of diesel decreased by 25 fils per liter, while the price of gasoline for both octane 90 and 95 decreased by 5 fils.

In light of these findings, the committee decided to reduce the selling price of diesel to 785 fils per liter, down from 810 fils. The price of octane 90 gasoline was also reduced to 940 fils per liter, down from 945 fils per liter, while the price of octane 95 gasoline was reduced to 1,180 fils per liter, down from 1,185 fils per liter.


Kerosene and gas cylinder prices unchanged
The committee also announced that the price of kerosene for the month of April will remain the same as the previous month at 620 fils per liter, based on Royal directives.

Additionally, the price of the gas cylinder will remain unchanged at JD7 per cylinder.
