Goal of medical exemptions is to treat eligible patients, says minister

AMMAN — During a press conference held on Sunday, Minister of Government Communications Faisal Shboul confirmed that the purpose of medical exemptions is to provide treatment to those who are eligible, according to Hala News.اضافة اعلان

According to Shboul, while these exemptions are costly, their ultimate aim is to ensure that those who require treatment are able to receive it.
Medical exemptions are given to those who do not have health insurance, “with the goal of reaching those who deserve treatment.”

He also noted that individuals under the age of six and over the age of 60 are already insured and therefore not eligible for medical exemptions.
