GAM apologizes for watermelon stand incident

AMMAN — The deputy director of the city for environmental affairs at GAM, Hussam Al-Najdawi, offered up an apology to the owner of a watermelon stand that was removed using a bulldozer on Wednesday, and to everyone who sympathized with the photos and videos that were circulating over social media. اضافة اعلان

Najdawi explained that during a campaign to remove the stands yesterday in the areas of Qweismeh, the owners of the stands were asked to remove them from the street, but the owner of the watermelon stand refused. 

However, Najdawi stressed his opposition to way in which the situation was dealt with.
