Fishermen catch 2-meter-long shark in Aqaba

AMMAN — A group of fishermen caught a 2-meter-long shark while sailing the southern coast of Aqaba, according to fishing expert Mohammad Al-Moghrabi. اضافة اعلان

The shark weighs 210kg, which forced the fishermen to resort to primitive fishing techniques, according to Al-Moghrabi.

Moghrabi contended that the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has conducted a full inspection of the area in coordination with the Jordan coast marine and security authorities. According to the inspection, no sharks were spotted.
