Education Minister tours schools

AMMAN — Minister of Education and Higher Education Mohammad Abu Qdeis on Monday visited a number of ministry-affiliated schools in the Bani Kinanah district of Irbid, as part of a tour to check on preparations to begin the new academic year and to hold the tawjihi (general secondary education certificate examination) tests.اضافة اعلان

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the minister checked on renovations at the schools as well as efforts to equip classrooms and laboratories as part of a broader ministry plan.

During his meeting with schools’ faculties, the minister said that teachers are at the core of the educational process, and that the ministry depends on the capabilities of its teachers to make up for the loss in educational value caused by COVID-19 shutdowns.
