AMMAN — X-ray machines at the Jaber Border Crossing have
detected 72.5 kilograms of captagon hidden in a refrigerator truck entering
Jordanian territory, the Jordan Customs Department (JCD) said on Tuesday.
Captagon pills are chemically prepared substances that stimulate the central
nervous system and cause addiction and severe health and psychological problems
that may end in death. Such substance is prohibited internationally and
included in the drug list, the statement noted.
