AMMAN — The National Epidemiology Committee on Monday recommended that
Omicron patients undergo self-quarantine rather than institutional quarantine,
according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
As of Monday, the Omicron caseload in the Kingdom hit 328, the Ministry of
Health announced, stressing that all the patients are in good health.
Health Ministry Secretary-General of Epidemiological Affairs Adel Al-Belbisi,
told Petra that those attending any New Year's celebrations are required to
show COVID-19 vaccine certificates, and a negative PCR tests taken up to 48
hours before the event.
f three months had passed since receiving the second jab,
individuals who are attending such events are required to take the booster shot
beforehand, he explained.
