Al-Jabali added that the Public Security Directorate’s preparations to prevent grass and forest fires during the summer season consist of an integrated system of operational plans implemented ahead of the summer months.

He pointed out that the Directorate activates and reviews this plan at the beginning of the summer season. The strategy is divided into an executive plan circulated to field directorates and discussed with all components of the Public Security apparatus—including the Police, the Gendarmerie, and the Civil Defense—as well as domestic partners from various state institutions and local civil defense committees.

He further noted that the Public Security Directorate has launched intensive awareness campaigns across various media outlets and social media platforms to promote safe practices and raise awareness regarding fire hazards.
