Arab League media delegation visits Irbid

AMMAN — An Arab delegation participating in the media meetings for the Arab League on Thursday visited Irbid city as the Arab Capital of Culture for 2022, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. During the visit, the delegation met with State Minister for Media Affairs Faisal Al-Shboul, in the presence of Irbid governor Radwan Atoum, Irbid Mayor Nabeel Kofahi, Head of Irbid Culture Directorate, A’qel Al-Khawaldeh, and a number of journalists. Al-Shboul spoke about Irbid's historical and cultural stature, which contributed to announcing the city as the Arab Capital of Culture for 2022. The delegation also visited the Umm Qais archeological site and the Irbid Cultural Center. AMMAN — An Arab delegation participating in the media meetings for the Arab League on Thursday visited Irbid city as the Arab Capital of Culture for 2022, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
 


During the visit, the delegation met with State Minister for Media Affairs Faisal Al-Shboul, in the presence of Irbid governor Radwan Atoum, Irbid Mayor Nabeel Kofahi, Head of Irbid Culture Directorate, A’qel Al-Khawaldeh, and a number of journalists.

Al-Shboul spoke about Irbid's historical and cultural stature, which contributed to announcing the city as the Arab Capital of Culture for 2022.
