The Jordanian Group for Free and Development Zones celebrated the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by hosting a group of individuals with disabilities and their families at the Ajloun Cable Car, in coordination with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

This event reflects the group’s commitment to promoting inclusion and highlighting the important role of people with disabilities in society.
Eng. Tareq Al-Ma’ayta, Director of the Ajloun Development Zone, stated that the Ajloun Cable Car offered a series of inclusive interactive activities inside the cabins and around the site. These included educational and recreational segments aimed at enhancing participation and providing a safe and enjoyable tourism experience. These activities demonstrate the group’s dedication to fostering equality, community empowerment, and enabling people with disabilities to enjoy all aspects of the tourist experience without barriers.
The group also reaffirmed its commitment to providing a friendly and accessible environment, including facilities designed according to universal access standards and services that ensure easy mobility and access, supporting everyone’s right to participate in and benefit from national tourism facilities.
Notably, the Ajloun Cable Car permanently grants free tickets to people with disabilities, underscoring its continuous dedication to providing inclusive services and ensuring that everyone can benefit from this vital tourism project.
