Based on the directives of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Minister of Water and Irrigation Eng. Raed Abu Saud, accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Water Authority Eng. Sufian Al-Bataineh, Director-General of Yarmouk Water Company Eng. Mohammad Al-Amayreh, and Director of Ajloun Water Eng. The minister instructed to increase the allocated water quantities and enhance them by speeding up the preparation of additional sources. He also emphasized the need to keep drinkable water tanks in place at the Ein Anjara and Ein Al-Sakhneh (Um Al-‘Ibr) locations to meet citizens' needs around the clock.اضافة اعلان

The minister also checked on the monitoring operations, stressing the need to take all necessary measures to ensure that citizens continue to receive their water needs according to the best standards, indicating that the government is closely following up on securing water for citizens and ensuring their safety.

Abu Saud directed that efforts be expedited to enhance water sources in the governorate by operating the Kafrnejah Dam Well (1) with a capacity of 100 cubic meters per hour, and operating the Zeqiq (4) well, ensuring its equitable distribution to all areas.

The minister urged everyone to be cautious as summer approaches and to refrain from using unsafe or undrinkable water (water from an unreliable source or not subject to approved health inspections and standards), whether for drinking or other domestic uses. He emphasized the immediate cessation of using such water for public safety and urged citizens to use only trusted water sources, such as the public water network or water bottled by licensed companies, while avoiding the use of untested well or spring water. He confirmed that water tankers will be available to meet citizens' needs.

The Secretary-General of the Water Authority confirmed that in cooperation with Yarmouk Water Company and the Ajloun Water Directorate, they are ready to supply citizens with water needs through tankers as required, without the need for citizens to visit the Ajloun Water Directorate, making it easier for the public.

The Water Authority and Yarmouk Water Company urge citizens not to purchase water from unreliable sources and to deal only with water tankers designated for drinking. They assure citizens of their readiness to serve them and confirm that they have a plan to ensure the safety of water and supply various regions of the kingdom with water.

The Director of Ajloun Water stated that three contracts have been signed with the private sector for drinkable water tankers to meet citizens' needs.
