Samar Muhareb emphasized the importance of integrating sustainable development goals into standards of excellence, underscoring the connection between institutional sustainability and achieving these goals. She stressed the need for a scientific approach to enhance collective institutional work, particularly in civil society organizations, which play a vital role in supporting stability and socioeconomic development.

Muhareb acknowledged the efforts of the African Arabian Excellence Award organizers and highlighted ARDD's commitment to building an institution capable of development, resilience, and excellence, despite challenges like crises, wars, and high operational costs.

Samuel Bishay, the founder of the African Arabian Excellence Award, explained the award's aim to encourage institutions to adopt international standards of excellence, compete regionally, and inspire excellence among staff members.

ARDD, founded in 2008 in Amman, Jordan, seeks to lead an Arab Renaissance initiative that aligns with the region's ongoing transformations, democratic governance, progressive development, and social equity. The organization operates primarily in Jordan while extending its programs, projects, and research to other Arab countries, supported by donors, international agencies, and NGOs.

ARDD's overarching vision is to create an Arab world where all individuals have equitable, inclusive, and sustainable rights and opportunities.
