3 EasyJet flights land in Aqaba, carrying 470 tourists

The Aqaba Airports Company, the operator of King Hussein International Airport, announced the arrival of three regular flights for Easy Jet, announcing its return to the regular operation of the Aqaba line directly, coming from three tourist destinations from (Berlin, Germany, with 152 passengers on board, and from London in Britain, with 140 passengers on board, and from Geneva in Switzerland, with 470 passengers on board in total.اضافة اعلان

Omar Al-Smadi, Director of Relations and Passenger Services at Aqaba Airports Company, pointed out that the health measures adopted by the Jordanian government and the crisis management cell helped to reduce the rate of infections with the COVID, besides the effectiveness of the actions taken by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in cooperation with the Aqaba Governorate Health Directorate to include most of the residents The city provided the vaccine and monitored compliance with the health protocol in the city, as all these steps came in line with the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Authority, the Special Zone Authority and the Civil Aviation Sector Regulatory Authority to ensure the safe return of regular flights from various international destinations.

Al-Smadi indicated EasyJet is organizing the arrival of these flights to Ryanair, whose first flight arrived in Aqaba on 10/31/2021. On 15/12/2021, her flights to her colleagues to work on transporting tourists from four tourist destinations (Bucharest in Rome, Budapest in Hungary, Rome in Italy, and Vienna in Austria).

Al-Smadi pointed out that the success of efforts to attract these companies will enhance tourism activity in Aqaba and the Golden Tourist Triangle, which will reflect in all sectors and related investments and the recovery of the commercial sector.
