Smuggled gasoline seized in Aqaba

AQABA — Four-thousand liters of smuggled gasoline that was on sale in “gasoline yards” located between residential neighborhoods in Aqaba was seized by the public safety committee of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in cooperation with the Anti-Smuggling Directorate at Customs and concerned security authorities, according to Al Ghad.اضافة اعلان

The head of the committee, Abdullah Faisal, confirmed that the quantity was seized and destroyed, and the persons involved were referred to the security authorities to take legal action against them.

Faisal said that the seizure operations will continue until Aqaba is free of smuggled gasoline, which he said is harmful to public safety.
