229 Jordanians still unable to leave Gaza Strip

AMMAN – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced that 229 Jordanians were unable to leave the Gaza Strip until 7 p.m. on Monday. اضافة اعلان

According to Al-Mamlaka TV, The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Sufyan Al-Qudah, said a team from the Jordanian embassy in Cairo is currently present on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing with the Gaza Strip.

Qudah added that 229 Jordanians were unable to leave on Monday, and the evacuation process will continue until Tuesday.

Qudah confirmed the ongoing reception of Jordanian citizens, and the final number of Jordanian citizens who have exited the crossing will be announced when it closes.

He noted that the number of Jordanians residing and present in Gaza, registered with the Ministry, reached 741 individuals as of Monday.
