1000 schools run double shift system as alternative to distancing between students

AMMAN — The Ministry of Education spokesperson Ahmed Al-Masafa said that there are 1,000 schools operating on the double shift system due to these schools’ inability to abide by the health safety instructions of maintaining a distance of at least one meter between students in the classroom.اضافة اعلان

Masafa also said that some schools alternate students in certain classes due to similar reasons, adding that the ministry monitors the implementation of the health protocol in all schools across the kingdom to ensure commitment to the health protocol.

Masafa said that the double-shift system is the only solution for the ministry to continue classroom education in light of the lack of classrooms and school buildings that meet the health protocol.
