AMMAN — Chinese fast food has become a global staple over the years. For those looking for a meal that is nourishing and filling while still being quick and convenient, very few cuisines can compare. اضافة اعلان

Even the takeout box has become an internationally recognized symbol in the fast-food industry.

Tucked amongst the busy streets of the 7th Circle, Wok and Walk is an Asian restaurant that specializes in quick and convenient ordering with its fully customizable meal choices.

The process of ordering from Wok and Walk is simple: you pick your base noodles, your protein (beef, chicken, or shrimp), your sauce, and your toppings.

This gives you the opportunity to fully personalize your entire meal to suit your tastes. You also have the choice of ordering edamame or dynamite shrimp as side dishes if you crave more than just noodles.

We asked for the waitstaff’s recommendations in order to get the best options that they had to offer.

We landed on one order of the Wok and Walk special noodles, paired with the Wok and Walk sauce, with a protein choice of beef, topped with bean sprouts, vegetable bok choy, and broccoli.

We also selected one order of Yakisoba noodles with Osaka sauce, chicken, broccoli, vegetable bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and cashews. We also ordered the dynamite shrimp and edamame, in order to sample as much of the menu as we feasibly could.

The meal was filling and satisfying. The noodles were of the perfect consistency and the sauces were perfectly complementary.

I personally preferred the dish with Osaka sauce over the house sauce, but both were extremely delicious.

Our orders also arrived extremely quickly, despite there being a few people ahead of us in line.

The portion sizes were extremely large, to the point that we had leftovers to take back home, but thanks to the packaging, taking the food home was no problem at all. Our meal was served in takeout containers, despite us choosing to dine in.

This was a nice touch, as it fits the name of the restaurant, and the containers provided a unique twist on the classic Chinese takeout box.

The side dishes left less of an impression than the main dish. The dynamite shrimp was mediocre, and the shrimps themselves were so large and filling that eating them along with the main dish, given its large portion size, made little sense.

The dynamite sauce also clashed slightly with the sauces that we chose, so pairing the two dishes made for a less enjoyable experience than the noodles had on their own.

The consistency of the edamame was off, and most of it was left untouched.

Although the side dishes left much to be desired, the main course made up for those shortcomings and more.

I would strongly recommend ordering from Wok and Walks. If you’re a busy person on the go who is looking for a meal to fill you up without putting a dent in your schedule, this is an excellent option for you.

The easily resealable containers make it an excellent option for delivery, and the large portions make it so that you would never be left unsatisfied.
