National football team player Adham Al-Quraishi underwent anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery on his knee on Monday, after sustaining an injury during the national team’s match against Morocco in the final of the 2025 Arab Cup.
Meanwhile, national team striker Yazan Al-Naimat had sustained an ACL tear during the Nashama’s match against Iraq. He subsequently underwent a successful surgical procedure and has since begun his treatment and rehabilitation phase.
The Nashama national team achieved a historic accomplishment by finishing as runners-up in the 2025 Arab Cup, held in Qatar, in a participation that received widespread praise for the players’ performances throughout the tournament.
