The Abbas brothers added to team sheet ahead of Asian Cup

AMMAN — Brothers Zaid and Hashem Abbas will join the national basketball team at the upcoming 2022 FIBA Asia Cup, which will be held July 12–24 in Jakarta, Indonesia.اضافة اعلان

Hashem, who recently recovered from an injury, was chosen to replace Mahmoud Al-Hazayma. Zaid had originally decided not to participated in the championship, but was convinced by coach Wissam Al-Sous to re-join.

The Falcons face off against Australia at 11am on July 12, followed by Indonesia at 1:30pm on July 14. Finally, they will play against Saudi Arabia at 11am on July 16.
