AMMAN — The first national basketball team, the Jordan Falcons, lost to New Zealand 72–100 on Monday as part of the fourth round of the 2023 World Cup Asian qualifiers. اضافة اعلان

New Zealand currently leads Group E teams with 12 points, ensuring its official qualification to the World Cup, followed by Lebanon again with nine points, with a match remaining against India.

Coming in third is the national team with nine points, then the Philippines fourth with seven points, with a match against Saudi Arabia (who are in fifth place with six points) remaining. India is at the bottom of the group’s standings with five points.

Hashem Abbas emerged from the side of the national team scoring 15 points, and getting five rebounds and three steals. Dar Tucker put up a double-double with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists. Amin Abu Hawass scored 19 points with two rebounds, three passes, and two steals.

The player, Xia Li, emerged from New Zealand by scoring 16 points with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Ben Gold came next, scoring 15 points with eight rebounds and a pass, and Flynn Cameron next with 13 points with two rebounds, six assists, and a steal.
