Bohannon did not perform as well as expected with the national team, and his performance set the team back, which is why a performance evaluation will be held.

Alayyan told Jordan News: “We must learn from our mistakes and re-evaluate various things, the most important of which is the performance of the naturalized player John Bohannon, which has not been at the required level.”

He added, "Winning and losing is part of the sport, and I hope that the national team will not get involved in private agendas. Of course, we must support the national team through thick and thin, but what is happening today is contrary to reality.”

Alayyan emphasized that the national team represents all Jordanians and that they deserve and the support and stated that the loss against the Saudi team “is not the end of the world.”

Alayyan also praised the strength of the Saudi team and their teamwork and stated that: “This means that we did not lose against a weak team. I think that Saudi Arabia will surprise many teams and be difficult to beat in the qualifiers," and added that the Jordan Falcons did not play at the level that everyone knows them by.

With regards to the status of Tucker, he said: “Dar Tucker is always our first choice, but he was not able to be with us at this stage due to personal circumstances.”
