In an interview published in OV Leuven’s website Taamari said: “Winter training is going well. We are training hard. We want to perform well in the second half of the season. Our ambition is to reach the play-off match. Our effort for the club and the fans, we should be able to do that."

He added that the losses are part of the sport and that “it was a struggle. I hope that we have learned from that and that we can score more points in the next stage."

Taamari contributed to his team’s victory in his team’s last match in 2021 against Royal Charleroi 0-3, by scoring his first goal in the tournament for the season, noting: “It has been a long time since I scored, I am very happy with my first goal, I am now I'm looking forward and I have to score more in the second round and make more passes, I play in the wing position and there you are judged based on the number of goals and it helps you build your name, so I think it's very important."
