First female referee assigned to lead professional league match

AMMAN — The Jordan Football Federation has assigned the task of leading a match between Sahab SC and Al-Baqaa to Jordanian referee Israa Mubaideen. The match will take place at 7:30pm on Tuesday.اضافة اعلان

In addition, the referee list includes Islam Al-Abadi, Sabreen Al-Abadi, Haneen Murad. This step is a part of the federation’s effort to improve and promote female referees in football. 

This will be the first time that a woman will lead a match in the professional league, as well as in a men’s tournament.
