Brighton pulled off a stunning upset, beating visitors Arsenal 3-0, in the fifth round of the English Premier League football competition, today, Saturday.

After eliminating Manchester United from the English League Cup with a 3-2 away win at Old Trafford last week, Brighton continued to embarrass England's big clubs, handing the reigning champions their first loss of the season across all domestic and continental competitions.
Brighton ended the first half ahead by two goals, scored by Pascal Groß and Charalampos Kostoulas in the 31st and 45th minutes, before Yankuba Minteh added the third goal in the 57th minute of the second half.
With this result, Brighton continued its resurgence, securing back-to-back wins, raising its tally to 10 points in third place.
Arsenal, meanwhile, suffered its first loss of the season, its tally frozen at 12 points in second place, trailing leaders Manchester City on goal difference, who host Sunderland tomorrow, Sunday.
