The designer launched Zeina Ali, her fashion line, in 2017. She told Jordan News, in an interview, that she inherited her love for fashion from her mother, who would take her to fabric stores and sew clothes for her dolls when she was young.

Ali attended Dubai Modest Fashion Week in 2017, and in 2018, she was a participants in Jakarta Modest Fashion Week. In 2019, she joined Dubai Modest Fashion Week as a speaker and took part in Jordan Fashion Week the same year. More recently, she participated in the 2021 Dubai Modest Fashion Week, with her new collection titled, “Phoenicorn.”

Ali’s grasp of materials, fabrics, and needlework, as well as her ability to uniquely utilize those three components of fashion, has allowed her to translate her idea that a “woman wears her story” into her line.

The designer said that she was unable “to seek support or to discuss my problems with women, and I was terrified of society's judgments and criticism.” Her experiences encouraged her to start making clothes that drew inspiration from women’s stories and the challenges they face.

Ali said that she wanted to share women's challenges and encourage support in each of her campaigns and collections.

“Each collection has a chronologically ordered story, and the concept of the collection develops via brainstorming (sessions) with women who tell us about the difficulties they experienced,” the designer said.

She added that another goal of the brand is to provide new designs and unique colors for those who wear modest clothing.

In 2017, the designer released her first collection, which featured soft textiles like silk and satin, combined with brilliant colors and shades, to complement her feminine designs.

The first collection’s colors included red, pink, and blue, according to Ali, who added that red represents boldness and pink represents femininity. “Female is power, and she can fulfill her dreams by believing in herself,” Ali said.

“The combination of colors and the design of the shoulders on my pieces set them apart,” Ali said, adding that her designs are statement pieces.

She said that every woman has an inspirational story to tell and success that was earned through effort, commitment, patience, challenge, and strength. Additionally, she tries to provide job opportunities to female embroiderers and tailors.

Her latest line includes 14 pieces reminiscent of street style, with a classic touch. The designs incorporate glazed materials, such as crepe and satin, which are frequently used in haute couture and designer pieces.

Ali's designs vary but usually include abayas, dresses, jackets, and suits. “I advise every woman to believe in herself and to wear her true story,” Ali said.
