Tuesday's horrific strike of the Baptist Hospital in Gaza, killing over 500 civilians, mostly women and children, must be investigated immediately by an impartial party as a war crime.اضافة اعلان

International denunciation and condemnation are not enough. Two things must happen now: An immediate ceasefire so that humanitarian aid can be delivered to over two million civilians who are in dire conditions, facing collective punishment and ethnic cleansing.

Two: An impartial investigation of what happened at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza.

Israel has claimed that it was an Islamic Jihad missile that struck the Hospital. It tried to provide evidence of that. But Israel cannot be trusted. It has a dismal track record of falsifying evidence and burying the truth.

The magnitude of the disaster that befell the Baptist Hospital is unimaginable. No primitive missile, made from water pipes as Israel has said before, can bring that kind of destruction and mayhem.

This is a war crime and whoever was behind it must bear responsibility and be called out.

An impartial party can release satellite images that would tell what happened on Tuesday night in Gaza at that particular moment.

Overall, everything that happened in Gaza over the past 12 days needs to be investigated. Over 3000 people have died, 60 percent of them women and children. Entire residential blocks have been wiped out. The indiscriminate bombing of Gaza by Israel is taking place on live TV. War crimes have been committed in Gaza. They must be investigated.  The killing of civilians by Israel is not self-defense: its cold-blooded murder.
