Launched in 2022, JoYS has quickly grown into one of Jordan’s leading science and innovation programmes. This year saw more than 500 project submissions, over twice the number received in 2024. Following a competitive evaluation process, 215 innovative and original projects were selected, to be presented by 661 students representing public, private, military, and UNRWA schools from across the Kingdom.

Projects focus on areas such as environmental solutions, renewable energy, robotics, AI, biotechnology, and other pressing local and global challenges. A highlight of the exhibition is the grand prize, a fully-funded trip to Ireland in January 2026 to represent Jordan at the internationally renowned Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition (BTYSTE).

With an expected attendance of up to 8,000 visitors, the exhibition is an exciting opportunity for students, families, educators, and innovators to connect, collaborate, and celebrate science.

JoYS is a national initiative founded and funded by the Embassy of Ireland, in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Crown Prince Foundation, and Al Hussein Technical University, supported by various public and private sector partners.
