As part of its commitment to providing clients with new options that support their growth and stability, Jordan Ahli Bank has announced its plan to introduce the global Synesgy platform in Jordan, in partnership with CRIF ITS, with the aim of enabling companies to evaluate their sustainability practices and strengthen transparency within their organizations and across their supply chains.اضافة اعلان
Synesgy is a global self-assessment platform, implemented in more than 90 countries and is available in 25 languages. It assists companies in gathering and managing their sustainability data while analyzing their commitment levels in this area. This is accomplished through a qualitative questionnaire customized for each sector, focusing on five key areas: business, environment, society, governance, and industry.
The platform also provides companies with detailed reports that include market benchmarking, practical recommendations to support the development of actionable improvement plans, and tools to reduce long-term risks. In addition, Synesgy offers a simplified version of the questionnaire tailored to the unique needs and requirements of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fewer than 50 employees. As part of its ongoing commitment to transparency and sustainability standards, Synesgy became a “GRI Licensed Partner” in 2024.
Commenting on this step, Dr. Ahmad Al Hussein, the CEO/General Manager of Jordan Ahli Bank, stated: "This partnership signifies a groundbreaking move towards embracing digital sustainability solutions and establishes us as a regional leader. Our goal is to offer clients more than just conventional banking services; we provide them with tools that enhance their preparedness to fulfill the expectations of international markets and investors, boost their competitiveness, and fortify their business resilience.
From his side, Mr. Marco Preti, Chief Executive Officer at CRIF ITS, has stated “The signing of this agreement with Jordan Ahli Bank comes in line with national efforts to support the investment environment and provide the necessary tools, including technological solutions and consulting expertise, to adhere to environmental, social, and governance standards.”
This initiative reaffirms Jordan Ahli Bank’s commitment to supporting the local business environment and national economy, while creating opportunities for Jordanian companies to expand their regional and international presence on stronger, more sustainable foundations.
CRIF ITS, on the other hand, provides its diverse services in the field of technological solutions for all types of sectors in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, helping banks and companies develop their businesses and obtain the most accurate business reports. This aligns with Jordan's vision to advance the labor market and provide the best tools and services that make the Jordanian market more capable of managing resources in general, thus achieving the desired values of effectiveness and competitiveness.
