Spain will send an additional $3.8 million to UNRWA – Spanish FM

MADRID – On Monday, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares announced that Spain will send an additional aid of 3.5 million euros ($3.8 million) to UNRWA, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

Previously, major donors to UNRWA, including the US and Germany, suspended their funding after Israel accused 12 UNRWA employees of being involved with Hamas for Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

In 2023, Madrid directly contributed a total of 18.5 million euros to UNRWA, including 10 million euros approved in December following a decision to triple development and humanitarian aid to Palestine.
