During a press conference, Abu Safiya stressed that it was the last hospital providing services in the northern region after Al-Awda Hospital closed on Tuesday for the same reason, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

He highlighted that the shutdown would deprive hundreds of thousands of civilians of their right to treatment, anticipating a rise in casualties in the near future.

Notably, multiple sources have confirmed a significant increase in the number of sick and injured patients, attributed to widespread famine and disease spread, with reports of four children dying in the hospital recently due to malnutrition and dehydration.
