Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli aircraft launched a missile at the vehicle, resulting in a devastating explosion. The Civil Defense swiftly responded, managing to reach the area and extinguish the raging fire engulfing the vehicle. However, the occupation forces have prohibited the extraction of the three charred bodies, Amad News reported.

Furthermore, the occupation forces have blocked the Jenin-Nazareth road, impeding the access of ambulance vehicles to the affected area. This obstruction has raised concerns about the timely provision of medical assistance to those in need.

The Israeli Air Force carried out the attack on a Palestinian car transporting a group of citizens. The vehicle was targeted on the bypass road near the Jalama checkpoint in Jenin during Wednesday evening.

According to the spokesperson for the Israeli army, the targeted vehicle belonged to Palestinian militants who had opened fire on an army checkpoint near Jenin. In response, an Israeli army aircraft swiftly retaliated, aiming to neutralize the imminent threat posed by the militants.

Hebrew Channel 12 revealed that the Israeli army utilized a "Zik" drone, marking the first assassination operation conducted by unmanned aircraft in the West Bank since approximately 2005.

Preliminary information suggests that the remote-controlled Israeli drone deliberately targeted the Palestinian vehicle traveling near Jenin. The aftermath of the attack revealed the presence of three bodies inside the vehicle, which Israel has taken custody of. Israeli authorities have confirmed the discovery of weapons within the car.

Reports also indicate the occurrence of clashes in the vicinity of the targeted vehicle, adding to the intensity and volatility of the situation.

Israeli Defense Minister Ya'akov Galant confirmed the successful neutralization of an armed Palestinian cell. In a Twitter post, Galant expressed the army's determination, stating, "We have assassinated a cell that carried out shooting operations against Israeli targets. We will adopt an offensive and preemptive approach, using all available means against every militant."
