DAMASCUS – Syrian media reported on Sunday that an Israeli aggression targeted Damascus International Airport, leading to its shutdown. اضافة اعلان

According to Al-Watan newspaper, the flight paths of incoming planes to Damascus were redirected towards Aleppo and Latakia airports. Meanwhile, local media reported the escalation of smoke in the vicinity of the areas of Mezzeh and Al-Muadamiyah following the sound of explosions.


In turn, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported hearing at least two explosions in locations in the capital, Damascus, noting that the targeted locations in Damascus are known for the presence of Iranian militias.

Earlier, the Syrian Observatory mentioned that a number of Syrian army personnel were injured due to an explosive device planted by unknown individuals in a military vehicle in the town of Mahajjah in the northern countryside of Daraa.
