In a post on the social media platform X, Al-Zaidi said that combating corruption remains one of the government’s top priorities, emphasizing continued efforts to safeguard public funds and reinforce the rule of law.

He expressed his gratitude to the Iraqi people, political parties, security agencies, oversight bodies, the Council of Representatives, the Supreme Judicial Council, religious authorities, Muqtada al-Sadr, leader of the National Shiite Movement, the Coordination Framework, and other national parties and political forces for supporting the government’s anti-corruption efforts.

Al-Zaidi said the broad national support demonstrates that the fight against corruption “is not merely the government’s battle, but the battle of an entire nation,” adding that Iraqis are united in defending public funds, upholding the rule of law, and securing the country’s future.
