Iraq strongly condemned on Thursday the attack carried out by Israeli occupation forces against an international diplomatic delegation consisting of 25 ambassadors and consuls during their inspection visit to Jenin refugee camp.
In a statement, the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Targeting diplomatic representatives is a blatant violation of international law and diplomatic norms. It reflects a clear disregard for the safety of international missions and constitutes a breach of the sanctity of diplomatic work.” The ministry affirmed that the delegation's visit aimed to monitor the ongoing violations committed by the occupation forces.
Iraq reiterated its full solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling for intensified international efforts to end the occupation and enable the Palestinian people to exercise their legitimate right to self-determination and establish an independent state.
