The Meteorological Department has reported that the Kingdom will be affected by a low-pressure system centered over Cyprus on Monday evening, with clouds forming at various altitudes.

During the night, there is a chance of light rain showers in the northern regions, spreading later to central areas, with winds from the southwest, moderate to active in speed.
By the early hours of Tuesday, the impact of a very cold polar air mass accompanying the low-pressure system will intensify, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures. The weather will be very cold, cloudy, and rainy across most areas, with rainfall expected to be heavy at times and possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and hail in some regions.
There is also a chance of snow showers from the early morning hours over high mountain peaks, sometimes mixed with rain. The probability of limited accumulation exists over the high southern mountains (Al-Sharah), but it is considered weak. Winds will be westerly and active, with strong gusts at times, raising dust in desert areas.
