The Meteorological Department has forecast that the Kingdom will be affected on Monday by a weather depression accompanied by rainfall.
The department said the weather will be relatively cold across most regions, with clouds appearing at various altitudes.

During the evening hours of Monday, the Kingdom will gradually be affected by a weather depression centered over the island of Cyprus. Cloud cover will increase, and rain showers are expected over the northern and central regions, as well as parts of the southwestern areas, later extending to parts of the eastern regions. Winds will be westerly and moderate in speed, becoming active at times. Monday night will be cold and cloudy, with intermittent rainfall in most areas. The rain is expected to be heavy at times in western parts of the Kingdom and may be accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, leading to the formation of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas, including the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea region.
On Tuesday, temperatures will drop noticeably, and the weather will be cold, cloudy, and rainy at intervals across most regions of the Kingdom. Rainfall is expected to be heavy at times, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail, increasing the risk of flash floods. Fog will also form in many areas, especially mountainous regions and plains. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate in speed and occasionally active.
A further slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday. Cold, foggy, and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will prevail in most regions, with scattered rain showers at intervals, particularly in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom, sometimes accompanied by thunder.
On Thursday, the weather will remain cold in most regions, while relatively mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some high clouds appearing and northwesterly winds of moderate speed.
