Heavy rainfall continues across various governorates of the Kingdom as the country is affected by a cold and cloudy weather system. Temperatures are expected to drop slightly on Tuesday, with cold and cloudy conditions persisting and intermittent rainfall affecting most regions. Rain may be heavy at times in some areas, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.
The Meteorological Department reported that rainfall will weaken during the evening hours, while fog is expected to form, particularly over mountainous areas and plains. Forecasts also indicate activity in westerly to northwesterly winds, which will be moderate in speed and occasionally active.
A further slight drop in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, with continued cold and foggy conditions and skies ranging from partly cloudy to cloudy across most areas. Rain showers are forecast over southern parts of the Kingdom and limited areas of the central regions. Rainfall in the south may at times be heavy, accompanied by thunderstorms and hail. There is also a chance of early morning showers mixed with snow over the high southern mountain peaks exceeding 1,600 meters in elevation. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally active, while the chances of rainfall will gradually decrease during the evening and night hours.
As for Thursday and Friday, cold conditions are expected to prevail in most areas, while weather will be relatively mild in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some high-level clouds will appear, and winds will be northwesterly and moderate.
