Jordan will experience mild and stable weather conditions across most regions through Friday, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
A slight dip in temperatures is expected on Wednesday, with mild weather prevailing in most parts of the country, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see relatively warmer conditions.
Low clouds are forecast to appear over northern and central areas, accompanied by northwesterly winds of moderate speed. These winds are expected to intensify at times, particularly in eastern regions, where gusts may reach speeds of up to 50 km/h and stir up dust.
On Thursday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly, while the overall weather pattern remains steady. Conditions will be mild over the highlands and plains and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Northwesterly winds will remain moderate to active at times, especially in desert areas where dust may be raised.
A further, but modest, increase in temperatures is expected on Friday. The weather will remain generally moderate in most parts of the Kingdom, while relatively warm conditions will continue in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will continue to blow from the northwest at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active.
A noticeable shift is forecast for Saturday as temperatures climb above seasonal averages by a slight margin. The weather will be relatively warm in most areas and hot in the desert regions, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will shift to a southeasterly direction during the day, becoming active at times before turning southwesterly by afternoon.
Today’s temperatures are expected to vary significantly across the Kingdom, with highs and lows reflecting regional differences in elevation and geography. In East Amman, temperatures will range between 25 C and 12 C, while West Amman will see slightly cooler conditions at 23 C to 10 C.
The northern highlands are forecast to record temperatures between 20 C and 9 C, and the Sharah highlands between 21 C and 8 C.
