The tournament became the talk of many fans, sports followers and social media users, who engaged widely with its events and atmosphere. Its organizational standard and distinguished audience turnout, along with the presence of internationally prominent names, gave the event extra momentum and helped shine a spotlight on Jordan as a destination capable of hosting and organizing major sporting events.

The tournament welcomed a number of sporting legends and famous personalities as guests of honor, led by American boxing legend Mike Tyson and Brazilian football star Ronaldinho. Also present were Hasbulla, a globally known social media star, Braulio Estima, former world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and one of the most prominent names in the sport, and Alexandra Wendling, a prominent commentator and sports reporter covering mixed martial arts fights.

Attendance on the night of the fights at the Roman Amphitheater exceeded 4,000 fans, an indication of the event's wide interest.

The tournament's distinction was not limited to the international names who attended, but extended to its organizational standard, which reflected Jordan's ability to host a sporting event of this size. Through distinguished organization and attention to every detail, it provided an atmosphere worthy of the scale of participation and international attendance. This raised expectations about the possibility of hosting more global tournaments and events in the coming phase, and strengthened the Kingdom's place on the international sports map.

In this context, media presenter Lean Aref said Mixed Martial Arts Week received great and wide resonance, and was among the most prominent and powerful sporting tournaments and events the Kingdom has hosted. She noted that the level of interest and engagement surrounding the event reflects the importance of this sport and its large fan base in Jordan.

Aref added that mixed martial arts (MMA) enjoys wide public following in Jordan, and that its number of fans and followers is very large, comparable to few other sports apart from football. This was clearly seen in the great interest that accompanied the tournament and the engagement with its events, both on the ground and across social media platforms.

She explained that the event also attracted spectators from outside Jordan, who came to the Kingdom specifically to follow the tournament and enjoy its atmosphere. This reflects the importance of such events in attracting visitors from various countries, and opens the door to linking sporting events with tourism activity, positively affecting the tourism sector and the national economy.

Aref noted that, in her view, the tournament succeeded in promoting Jordan as a tourist destination in a notable way, especially with well-known international figures who have millions of followers around the world, most prominently Ronaldinho and Mike Tyson. This gave the Kingdom the chance to reach wide audiences in various countries, through the visits the guests made to a number of Jordanian tourist and archaeological sites, and their sharing of photos and videos from those visits on their personal social media accounts.

She pointed out that these stars' visits to prominent tourist sites, such as the city of Petra, the Dead Sea and the Roman Amphitheater, and their sharing of their experiences and photos with their followers, is an important promotional tool for Jordan. This is especially so as these personalities' accounts have followings reaching millions, allowing the image of the Kingdom and its landmarks to reach a broad global audience, in a manner that goes beyond traditional promotional campaigns.

In this context, Aref referred to statements Mike Tyson made on arriving in Jordan, in which he spoke of his previous knowledge of the Kingdom through the city of Petra and his desire to visit and get to know Jordan up close. She considered that the presence of a global figure of Tyson's stature, and his interest in visiting Jordanian tourist sites, is an important opportunity to introduce the Kingdom and its landmarks to his large audience around the world.

She added that the tournament's media impact was not limited to social media or live attendance, but also extended to television coverage, with the event's fights broadcast on well-known Arab channels, including MBC Action. This helped widen the circle of viewers and reach a larger audience across the Arab region, and strengthened the media resonance surrounding the tournament.

The success that accompanied Mixed Martial Arts Week reflects the importance of investing in hosting international sporting events, not only as competitive and entertainment events, but also as effective tools for tourism and cultural promotion, strengthening Jordan's presence on the global stage and attracting visitors and enthusiasts from across the world.

The experience also confirmed that Jordan's tourism and historical assets, together with its expertise and organizational capabilities, give it a real opportunity to host more major sporting events and turn them into platforms for introducing the Kingdom and highlighting its distinctive tourist sites and capabilities that can attract international attention.
