Kakish wins gold at Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship

AMMAN — The national jiu-jitsu team won one gold and two silver medals at the sixth edition of the Asian Championship, hosted in Manama, the capital of Bahraini.  . اضافة اعلان

Contestants from 22 Asian countries participated coming to a total of 263 players.

Yara Kakish won the gold medal in the women’s U70kg weight class, while Yasmine Al-Alami won the silver in the U57kg weight class.

This is Yara Kakish’s third medal in the Asian Championship, after the two silvers she won in the 2021 and 2018.
