AMMAN — Jordan’s first hot air balloon festival ended earlier this week on Tuesday in Wadi Rum. While there are a couple of operators that offer trips in balloons in Jordan’s iconic desert, this was the first large-scale festival in the Kingdom.اضافة اعلان

Hussein Qudah, director of the festival, previously told Jordan News that the festival would be an annual event, taking place in the Golden Triangle, which is considered “a COVID-19-free zone” and includes Aqaba, Wadi Rum, and Petra.

The festival was expected to attract groups from countries like the Netherlands, France, Spain, Belgium, and the UK.

The festival lasted five days, starting on October 1.
