The municipality of Taybeh praised the “Athar” initiative launched by the youth of the Alawneh clan, in cooperation with the municipality, which aims to beautify public facilities and promote national identity, in a practical embodiment of the values of belonging, social responsibility and volunteer work.

The initiative includes the implementation of a number of works aimed at improving the urban environment, most notably the creation of murals that reflect the Jordanian national identity, painting the curbs to give an aesthetic appearance to the streets, in addition to planting trees in the median islands, which contributes to improving the general landscape and creating a more beautiful and sustainable environment.
The Taybeh Municipality affirmed that the “Athar” initiative represents a distinguished model of effective partnership between the municipality and the local community, and reflects an awareness of the importance of preserving public facilities and participating in development, noting that such initiatives leave a positive impact and a sustainable mark on the place.
The head of the Taybeh Municipality Committee, Thabet Abdul Majeed Al-Shuraida, said that the municipality views youth initiatives as a key partner in the local development process, appreciating the efforts made by young people in launching this initiative that promotes the values of volunteer work and national belonging.
Al-Shuraida added that the municipality affirms its full partnership with those in charge of the “Athar” initiative, and will work to provide various forms of support and coordination to ensure its success and present it in the best possible way, which will contribute to enhancing the civilized appearance of the town of Al-Taybeh, and embody the fruitful cooperation between the municipality and the members of the local community.
He noted that the municipality will continue to support community initiatives that contribute to improving the local environment and establishing a culture of teamwork, believing that sustainable development is achieved through the cooperation of all institutions and members of society.
